The ‘Vielfalt Gestalten’ re-audit serves to review, consolidate and further develop the diversity strategy and measures developed in the initial audit. It aims to support audited universities in consistently pursuing their specific diversity goals. The peer review serves as a critical and constructive discussion and appraisal of the diversity strategy by external peers. Participants are given the opportunity to contribute their views on the university's process over the past four years. We would be delighted if you would take part and support the Vice Rectorate and the staff unit team on this day.

The session provides basic knowledge about the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG) and the various behaviours that fall under sexualized discrimination and violence. It also addresses the various options for action for those affected, witnesses, supporters and contact persons (such as teaching staff or leaders) and refers specifically to the university context with its specific risks and options for action. In addition, the University of Bonn's guidelines for protection against sexualized discrimination and violence as well as contact points will be presented. Following the presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.
The Buddy Programme ‘GemeinsamAktiv’ of the University Sports Department aims to offer an inclusive sports programme for students in order to reduce barriers and inhibitions to using sports facilities. The programme is open to all students at the University of Bonn who would like to be active together in a tandem. The individual needs of participants with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses are taken into account and the buddies are trained accordingly. You can find out more about the programme, get to know your buddy and network with the other participants at an opening workshop on 03.12.2024.
Do you like dancing and are you looking for an inclusive dance group? Then our wheelchair dance course is just the thing for you! Whether jazz dance, modern dance or improvisation - in this course we get to know different dance styles together and develop inclusive choreographies in which everyone can take part. People without disabilities dance together with wheelchair users, either as a couple or in a group. You don't need any previous experience - everyone is welcome, including dance enthusiasts who use an electric wheelchair! What are you waiting for? Come along and dance with us!
The workshop is aimed at members of current or future appointment committees. All status groups are addressed, especially professors. The event is based on an anti-bias approach and guides participants to reflect on their unconscious assumptions in order to consciously shape their professional role. The workshop is designed to be interactive and includes a mix of theoretical input, discussion, individual and group exercises.
